Quick Cardio

Some days I wake up and am not up for a long workout. But I also don't want to not do some form of exercise to get my body going because I always feel very off or dreary if I don't get some form of physical activity. Sometimes where I am or what my day holds, prevents me from being able to go to the gym or do a Zumba workout. For example, if I'm traveling and don't have access to a gym or simply don't have the time because of a busy day. When I am in Denmark I don't have access to a gym, so during my time spent there I have to get creative with how I am still able to get in a proper workout. This is great for that, especially when my "me" time is limited. 

What I like to do is this quick but high intensity workout to get my cardio fix.

Repeat 2-3 times:

  • 30 jumping jacks
  • 5 pushups
  • 30 high knees
  • 8 burpees
  • 15 crunches
  • 8 squats
  • 30 jumping jacks
  • 1 minute wall sit (for second a third rep replace wall sit with 1 minute plank)
  • 5 pushups
  • 30 high knees

I love this because it does not only get your blood pumping and body going but it also strengthens all major aspects of the body. If I have the time I like to add a short walk (speed walk) and/or some extra ab work. I promise you will be amazed by what an impact this short but effective mini workout can have.
