While it is still February, Spring is just round the corner. And thank goodness for it! This week, we have negative temperatures, during day-light hours, so venturing outside, will only be done when absolutely necessary.
It's days and weeks like this, where hygge comes into play full force. Putting a little extra into the little things in our day to day, to warm ourselves from the inside out! Whether that be a little more self care in your weekly routine, warm drinks of fresh spring flowers to bring a little color into your day.
I've been trying to get my coffee table just right for quite a while now, but haven't been fully satisfied with the set up. Until early this month. I was gifted the wooden tray, the white vase, and the Jo Malone Candle for my birthday earlier this month, and somehow that lead everything to come together perfectly. I think is all comes to perfectly and naturally together because of the lovely Munk Collective Frame Tray.
This little set up was created in my mind and I love how it came together. Again for my, it's really the little things in life that given me a little extra excitement and happiness and the day-to-day. This coffee table, now gives me exactly that extra little bit of coziness in the living room, that I've been missing!
The Jo Malone candle, cannot get enough praise from me. It smells absolutely divine and I couldn't be more obsessed with it. Maybe it's the floral, springly smell or just the simplistically beautiful look of the candle. But something about it is just perfect.
Then I have some of my favorite magazines and books. Books that can be read again and again, especially The Little Book of Hygge and Lykke!
Just a little something different here on the blog today, because for anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with home decor. So now you know a little bit more about me and another one of my weird little obsessions, that's not health related. While at the same time it is. Happy home, happy life. We need to care for and love the space we live in. Which is the funny thing, that while this surface level doesn't seem related to all my healthy living posts, really, indirectly it is.
