Current situation: on the coach with my lemon water and a giant bowl of fruit, watching Klip Fiskerne. I'm having an incredibly low key Friday night and it's glorious. I came home from work, went for a little walk through town, came home took care of some things and then had a giant bowl of my gut healing soup. This soup was exactly what I needed. My gut has not been feeling so good this week so this soup has already made a difference. I made a giant batch yesterday for lunch and saved some in the fridge for today and then I froze some. It's super easy and I genuinely feel so much better now!
This week has flown by, starting with my bike getting stolen over the weekend... Not a great way to start the week but there wasn't much to do about it. But other than that the week consisted of blog work, getting organized for school, getting a new bike, a little movie theater trip, dinner with girl friends and slower mornings. Have just 3 days this week where we were able to sleep until 8, slowly get up and have breakfast before going to the gym was amazing. Not having to run around, rushing from one thing to the next in the morning is something to be grateful for. I love love love slow mornings! My mindset for the day is just much more calm, collected and happy. But you can't have slow morning every day.
I'm working tomorrow, so i'll be crawling into bed soon with a good book and falling asleep with ease. So here are my happy 5 for the week:
1. Having a wonderful boyfriend that is so helpful, kind and considerate
2. Movie dates
3. Sunshine for almost an entire week!
4. Slow morning - I cannot emphasis this enough
5. Taking care of and making my gut feel 100 again
