What a week. The first week of vaca has come and gone... how could it possibly have gone by so quickly? The thought of us having to leave and go back to reality in a week is absolutely saddening. But one super positive thing, is that usually our trips are at the end of the summer, in August, which usually means that end of the summer when we then head home. But this time we are gone earlier in the summer, which means that there is still summer when we head home. Well, if the Danish weather provides some summer weather.
But vaca is wonderful. We spent the first couple of days in Mystic, then two nights in Nantucket and then today we just arrived home from New York City. So it's been a busy couple of days but some amazing days. And the amount of food that has been consumed is alarming, but that's just vaca in my family. It has a lot to do with spoiling ourselves with lots of delicious foods. And lets jut say it's a nice balance of the good and the not as good. But a foodie post will come later, or there will be at least some post where all of the food (that I managed to get pictures of) we've eaten will be shared.
