Sunday's are for sleeping in and brunch - this has been strongly established over the past years. There's really nothing better than slow Sunday mornings. Sunday evenings on the other hand can seem a little bit more rough - simply due to the thought of another big week ahead.
Does anyone else feel like weekends fly by ridiculously quickly? I swear I don't know where the time flies. This weekend consisted of a wide range of different types of activities. Friday night consisted of some amusement park fun after dinner at Wagamama at Tivoli. Went on one ride where I swear I thought I was about to pass out... but nothing beats that tingling feeling in the pit of your stomach! The night concluded with some churros which we dipped in soft serve ice cream (un-real) and running in the pouring ran from the metro to the apartment - which left us completely soaked... Saturday morning consisted of some slightly touristy activities and the afternoon was filled with soccer on the Islands Brygge lawn - a must during EM :)
And Sunday - well Sunday consisted of sleeping in, delicious bakery bread and cinnamon buns for breakfast and nothing but relaxation and long walks. Another wonderful Summer weekend has come and gone.
Tomorrow is the start of another internship week, with strong hopes of learning more!
Sweet dreams xo
