Well, I am officially back to the reality of life. Back to busy days, windy weather and jeans & sweaters. It may be be getting closer and closer to Spring (and too be fair the weather is getting better) but it's not exactly the 87 degrees of Puerto Rico.
I just came back from a little late night bike ride - mainly on a mission to find some Icelandic yogurt but no such luck (that's what happens when the stuff is on sale and you wait until 9 pm to get it). Now a little bike ride is aways nice but there is nothing like a walk on the beach. A walk on the beach, with the wind in your hair and sand sticking between your toes. The warmth of the sun shining down on you with each step into a new pile of thousands of sand corns. I just love it.
It's so calming. I sincerely don't think that there is a better way to start the day than by taking a little stroll near the ocean. This summer I was privilege enough to wake up and walk every morning and it had such a major impact on me. Morning walks in general are the best way to start the day, but there is just nothing that beat the ocean.
I sincerely believe that I am meant to be by the ocean - maybe it's being born a kiwi or maybe it's from all the underwater adventures, I really don't know. All I know is the feeling I get when my toes touch the edge of the cool turquoise water.
