It's rainy. It's cold. It's windy. The sky could not possibly be more grey. It's February 7th. We're truly in the dead of winter and April, along with the hope of Spring, still seem so far away. It's all very dreary and sad in a way. The motivation level to get out of bed and have a productive, happy day seems as low as humanly possible.
This past Wednesday I was gifted with five beautiful bundles of tulips in the Spring-iest colors I have seen in what feels like months. The vibrant colors of pink, purple, yellow, red and all the shades in-between, light up my day. I wake up, look out the window and immediately want to hide in bed all day. Then I scan downward and there sitting on my windowsill are three little vases with 6 beautiful little tulips. These little plants can get me out of bed and continue to light up my day, even on the darkest of days. Each one of these beautiful flowers are beautiful in there own special way and their vibrate colors illuminate the apartment, making it feel just a little bit more like Spring. It may be winter outside but in my little home it's Spring. Spring is on the way, slowly but gradually.
So go buy yourself some beautiful vibrant flowers and light up any room with the hope of Spring on this beautiful Sunday morning.
