The last Saturday of winter! March, and Spring, is truly right around the corner. This weekend really did feel like early Spring. The sun was shinning all day and it gave this warmth that simply put everyone in a good mood. And really, it wasn't that warm outside temperature wise, but I think everyones hope and excitement for Spring kept us warm. For many, the first ice cream was eaten today. There was a least plenty walking around the city with their favorite ice cream delights.
After a wonderful brunch at Emmerys, Bee and I walked around the buzzing, sunny city. A little shopping was done as well, well I was good and didn't spend! :) I love the city in the weekend, there is just the happy vibe even though it's crowded and people are running around completing all there weekend tasks. People are just happy to have the day, then add some sunshine and you have a beautiful combination.
As the afternoon drew on, we decided it was time for some bubbles. A new wine bar just opened up right next to my apartment, Plan B, so we headed over for some afternoon fun. With our bubbles in hand, we sat outside the wine bar and just soaked up warmth of the afternoon sun. T'was a glorious afternoon.
My night consisted of delicious sweet potato and Sex and the City (the movie). Another fabulous Saturday had come and gone, but this one also provided the hope of warmer weather, clearer skies and Spring.
