Happy Sunday readers! Another Christmas weekend has come and gone - all of these Christmas parties and family events seemed so far away just weeks ago and now they are almost over. Just one more weekend until Christmas. My week wasn't exactly overly exciting, spent most of it writing one exam and preparing for the other two. My brain was so fried by Thursday, which was just in time to spend the afternoon finishing some Christmas shopping and watch a little Christmas show in Tivoli with my mama and brother. A nice way to get away from the exam craziness.
Yesterday, the boyf and I went to a Christmas party/lunch with his family and friends - which was a blast. You don't really know what a feast is until you've gone to a Danish Christmas lunch. So. Much. Food. AND, there was desert AND candy/cookie plates. Meaning that we first had rounds of food, then we had risalamande and then we proceed to play games while snacking on candy and basically every type of Christmas cookie you can think of. I was asked to make my bliss balls , which I successfully made Friday morning before I headed to Svendborg, which I then forgot in Copenhagen, which then I made a new batch at 5 pm in Svendborg. So that was a mess, but they still made it to the party. And to my surprise the kids at the lunch actually liked the bliss balls, went for them more than once of choosing cookies! Proof that kids actually do like the processed sugar free, butter free, gluten free, basically everything free healthy alternative for goodies. It caught me a little by surprise that they actually liked them to be honest, I just figured kids would think UGK compared to the cookies. :)
